Detección de aguas subterráneas utilizando Google Earth Engine con imágenes satelitales Sentinel-1 en el municipio de Sucre

Abstract

La investigación se centra en la detección de acuíferos subterráneos en Sucre durante 2022 y 2023, utilizando la plataforma Google Earth Engine y las imágenes satelitales Sentinel 1. Se destaca la importancia de gestionar de manera sostenible el agua subterránea, especialmente en Bolivia. La metodología propuesta aprovecha herramientas de teledetección para obtener representaciones gráficas de los acuíferos, contribuyendo a su gestión adecuada.The research focuses on the detection of underground aquifers in Sucre during 2022 and 2023, using the Google Earth Engine platform and Sentinel 1 satellite imagery. It highlights the importance of sustainable groundwater management, especially in Bolivia. The proposed methodology leverages remote sensing tools to obtain graphical representations of aquifers, contributing to their proper management.
