Factores que dificultan la participación de la comunidad en la gestión del hospital municipal Boliviano Holandés y su red de servicios en la ciudad de El Alto

Abstract

Este estudio tuvo como finalidad recoger y analizar las percepciones de una red ciudadana de usuarios de servicios de salud sobre la participación de la comunidad en la gestión del Hospital Boliviano Holandés (HBH) y la red de servicios, centro de 2do nivel de la ciudad de El Alto. El hospital y la red de servicios del distrito 1 de El Alto fueron adjudicados por una parte el Municipio y por otra la Embajada de Holanda a una ONG sin fines de lucro, quién enfatizó en la viabilidad económica del Hospital y dejando de lado los Centros de Salud de la RedThe purpose of this study was to collect and analyze the perceptions of a citizen network of health service users regarding community participation in the management of the Bolivian Dutch Hospital (HBH) and the service network, a second level center in the city of El Alto. The hospital and the service network for the first district of El Alto were awarded by the municipality and the Dutch embassy to a non-profit NGO, which emphasized the economic viability of the hospital and the fact that the health centers in the network were not included.
