Ha sido muy discutida la cuestión de si la jurisdicción voluntaria envuelve en realidad actividad de carácter jurisdiccional o si por el contrario, por no tener esa naturaleza, las materias por ellas comprendidas deberían encargarse específicamente a órganos administrativos o a los notarios para integrar la función que éstos desempeñan en la legitimación de las relaciones jurídicas

The question of whether voluntary jurisdiction actually involves activities of a jurisdictional nature has been much debated, or whether, on the contrary, because they do not have that nature, the matters covered by them should be specifically entrusted to administrative bodies or notaries in order to integrate the function they perform in the legitimation of legal relations.
