Sintomatología depresiva en mujeres víctimas de violencia que acuden al slim de la ciudad de Trinidad

Abstract

El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar, por medio de un estudio descriptivo, analítico, la prevalencia de la sintomatología depresiva en mujeres que sufren violencia de pareja, y lo denuncian en el Servicio Legal Integral de la Mujer de Trinidad. El número de mujeres participantes fue de 60, con un promedio de edad de 34 años. El instrumento utilizado fue el Inventario de depresión de Beck (BDI- II), creado en 1961 por el psiquiatra, investigador y fundador de la Terapia Cognitiva, Aarón T. Beck.The objective of the research was to determine, by means of a descriptive, analytical study, the prevalence of depressive symptomatology in women who suffer intimate partner violence and report it to the Women's Legal Service of Trinidad.
