Estudio de caso: Extracción de cuatro premolares y anclaje transpalanance en maloclusión clase I

Abstract

Los objetivos fueron eliminar el apiñamiento severo, nivelar líneas medias, conseguir Clase I canino, mejorar oclusión, estética y parafunción masticatoria. En el plan de tratamiento se consideró la extracción de los cuatro primeros premolares y así lograr espacio suficiente para alinear correctamente los demás dientes. Además se utiliza anclaje máximo Transpalanance en maxilar superior y Arco Lingual en maxilar inferior, posteriormente se monta aparatología ortodoncica fija y una vez finalizado el tratamiento se usa retenedores removibles tipo HawleyThe objectives were to eliminate severe crowding, leveling of midlines, achieving Class I canine, improving occlusion, aesthetics and masticatory parafunction.
