Síndrome de Burnout : un estudio en docentes universitarios de la Universidad San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca

Abstract

La presente tesis tiene como finalidad explorar el Síndrome de Burnout en docentes de la Universidad San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca. Se trata de un estudio cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo y exploratorio. La población del presente estudio está constituida por 29 docentes universitarios de la carrera de Psicología y Pedagogía. El Síndrome de Burnout y sus dimensiones fueron medidos mediante el Inventario de Burnout de Maslach, M.B.I., se utilizó la versión española adaptada de Seisdedos (1997. Los resultados de la presente investigación señalan que no existe diferencias significativas entre hombres y mujeres en cuanto a las dimensiones del Burnout (Agotamiento Emocional, Despersonalización y Realización Personal).The present thesis aims to explore the Burnout Syndrome in teachers of the San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca University. It is a quantitative study of descriptive and exploratory type. The population of the present study is constituted by 29 university professors of the Psychology and Pedagogy career. The Burnout Syndrome and its dimensions were measured by means of the Burnout Inventory of Maslach, M.B.I., the Spanish version adapted from Seisdedos (1997) was used. The results of the present investigation indicate that there are no significant differences between men and women in terms of the dimensions of Burnout (Emotional Exhaustion, Depersonalization and Personal Development).
