Resumen/Abstract
Introducción: Las lesiones ováricas son formaciones foliculares anecogénicas Conocidas también como lesiones seudoquísticas del estroma ovárico, se visualizan por ecografía ajustando la ganancia según la fase menstrual. Las lesiones quísticas pueden medir hasta 2,5 cm. Los quistes simples menores de 5 cm son fisiológicos y pueden reabsorberse durante el ciclo. Los quistes neoplásicos se evalúan ecográficamente al inicio y final del ciclo, mientras los foliculares son funcionales y disminuyen según el ciclo. Objetivo: Determinar la prevalencia de lesiones ováricas diagnosticada por ecografía en pacientes que acuden al Hosp. Gineco Obstétrico y Neonatal Dr. Jaime Sánchez Porcel de la ciudad de Sucre durante los meses de mayo a agosto de 2019.
Introduction: Ovarian lesions are anechogenic follicular formations Also known as pseudocystic lesions of the ovarian stroma, they are visualized by ultrasound, adjusting the gain according to the menstrual phase. Cystic lesions can measure up to 2.5 cm. Simple cysts smaller than 5 cm are physiological and can be reabsorbed during the cycle. Neoplastic cysts are evaluated ultrasonographically at the beginning and end of the cycle, while follicular cysts are functional and decrease according to the cycle. Objective: To determine the prevalence of ovarian lesions diagnosed by ultrasound in patients who attend the Dr. Jaime Sánchez Porcel Obstetric and Neonatal Gynecology Hospital in the city of Sucre during the months of May to August 2019.
