Abstract

Hemos titulado Biografía intelectual del IEB al número 23 de la Revista Estudios Bolivianos pues recoge las ponencias y observaciones de estudiosos de distintas disciplinas sobre el quehacer del Instituto en los últimos 20 años. Hemos encontrado en el taller realizado, reflexiones acerca del papel de la filosofía y las perspectivas teóricas invitando a repensar el papel de las reflexiones en el siglo XXI, un siglo marcado por la polarización de las ideologías y las creencias religiosas, al punto de llegar al asesinato y al suicidio. Desde su lugar, cada una de las reflexiones nos enfrentó con la responsabilidad de deliberar sobre nuestro lugar y nuestro papel como investigadores de las ciencias humanas y socialesWe have titled IEB's Intellectual Biography to issue number 23 of the Bolivian Studies Magazine because it includes the papers and observations of scholars from different disciplines on the work of the Institute in the last 20 years. We found in the workshop, reflections on the role of philosophy and theoretical perspectives inviting us to rethink the role of reflections in the XXI century, a century marked by the polarization of ideologies and religious beliefs, to the point of reaching murder and suicide. From their place, each of the reflections confronted us with the responsibility of deliberating about our place and our role as researchers in the human and social sciences
