Estilos de afrontamiento y calidad de vida en pacientes con VIH-SIDA de la ciudad de Sucre

Abstract

El propósito de esta investigación fue analizar si los estilos de afrontamiento de 27 pacientes con VIH-SIDA estaban relacionados con su calidad de vida. PAra identificar estas variables en los sujetos, se emplearon los cuestionarios de: MOS-SF-30 de Wu et., (1991) para evaluar la calidad de vida de personas infectadas por el VIH-SIDA de Namir y Cols. Se apunta que los sujetos de estudio con mayor frecuencia utilizan como estilo de afrontamiento el estilo activo-conductual y las estrategias de afrontamiento más utilizada es : Crecimiento personal. En cuanto a la calidad de vida el indicador Malestar con respecto a la salud es el predominante, es decir que existe un mayor bienestar con respecto a la salud y la calidad de vida media y alta priman en los pacientesThe purpose of this research was to analyze whether the coping styles of 27 patients with HIV/AIDS were related to their quality of life.
