En la presente monografía se muestran los resultados obtenidos de la investigación realizada en el Centro de Readaptación Productiva “El Palmar” de la Comunidad Palmar Chico cercana a la ciudad de Yacuiba provincia Gran Chaco del departamento de Tarija, con la finalidad de conocer si se respeta el principio del Interés Superior de los niños que viven dentro de este centro penitenciario por parte de sus padres y el Estado, a través de entrevistas realizadas a la Directora del área de mujeres del penal y de las madres privadas de libertad que viven con sus hijos dentro del penal, señalando la normativa en la que se establecen las funciones de las instituciones pertenecientes al Estado encargadas de realizar seguimiento y brindar las condiciones para que se respete este principio.
This monograph shows the results of the research carried out in the "El Palmar" Productive Rehabilitation Centre of the Palmar Chico Community near the city of Yacuiba province of Gran Chaco in the department of Tarija, with the aim of ascertaining whether the principle of the best interests of children living in this prison is respected by their parents and the State, through interviews with the Director of the Women's Department of the Prison and the mothers deprived of their liberty who live with their children in the prison, outlining the regulations establishing the functions of the State institutions responsible for monitoring and providing the conditions for compliance with this principle.
