Las nuevas técnicas alternativas, en la gestión de sistemas de riego, se constituyen en una posibilidad para dar solución a la problemática de tipo socioeconómico y a las condiciones climáticas adversas, propios del altiplano boliviano.
El presente estudio, se realizó partiendo del contexto general de lo que es, el manejo inadecuado e ineficiente del agua para riego en la cuenca del río Keka, provincia Omasuyos del departamento de La Paz, con la finalidad de determinar el grado de aprovechamiento, operación y mantenimiento de los sistemas de riego. The new alternative techniques, in the management of irrigation systems, constitute a possibility to give solution to the problems of socioeconomic type and to the adverse climatic conditions, characteristic of the Bolivian altiplano.
The present study was carried out starting from the general context of what it is, the inadequate and inefficient management of irrigation water in the Keka river basin, Omasuyos province of the department of La Paz, in order to determine the degree of use, operation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
