Una de las enfermedades más frecuentes que afectan al ser humano son las infecciones urinarias. La infección de tracto urinario involucra una amplia variedad de formas clínicas, cada una con fisiopatología y características propias en su forma de tratamiento. El propósito de esta investigación fue determinar la prevalencia de la infecciones del tracto urinario en mujeres en edad fértil y sus factores predisponentes en el servicio de Ginecología de la Caja Bancaria de la ciudad de Sucre de septiembre 2010 a febrero 2011 One of the most frequent diseases that affect the human being are the urinary infections. Urinary tract infection involves a wide variety of clinical forms, each with its own pathophysiology and characteristics in its treatment form.
