Nuestro estudio está referido a poner de manifiesto que los problemas básicos de salud pública en los diferentes niveles de atención, aún no pueden ser superados, respecto al fortalecimiento y desarrollo institucional en el Municipio de Sucre. Considerando que en el actual modelo de gestión de salud, el Directorio Local de Salud, se constituye en la máxima autoridad, realizamos un análisis con el objetivo de investigar, desde la perspectiva de sus integrantes y usuarios, su organización y funcionamiento, como factores trascendentales de su consiguiente gestión Our study refers to the fact that the basic public health problems in the different levels of care can not yet be overcome with respect to strengthening and institutional development in the Municipality of Sucre.
